Spend the afternoon with fellow High Lifers. First enjoy a beautiful journey along the scenic Delaware River on the Warren County Winery Train. We will travel along the river to the farthest end of the railroad, debarking at the historic Riegelsville train station. Just up the hill from the train station (a shuttle bus will take us up their driveway), we will visit one of New Jersey's most beautiful wineries - Villa Milagro Vineyards. Here we will learn how grapes are grown and made into wine then sample their delicious wines and have an opportunity to purchase them at the source. Feel free to pack lunch to enjoy on the property. Once the shuttle drops us off to board the train again, it will begin its journey back to where we started. We end the day we will relax at the picnic tables in Phillipsburg with views of the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers. From your car, you can retrieve appetizers packed to pair with the wine you purchased or bring your own libations.
We will meet at the train station: Delaware River Railroad - 38 Market Street, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 around 11:30 to ensure we are on the 12:00 train.
The cost is $45 per person, and it includes a day filled with wine and fun! You must purchase your own ticket for May 17th 12:00 Wine Train. Order tickets at https://www.877trainride.com/wineticketoffice.html ASAP as only 22 tickets are left!
